Pierre Rigaud Dubuisson studied Social Anthropology at the Faculty of Ethnology at the State University of Haiti. He completed his masters in Human and Social Sciences at the University of Paris 8 in Saint-Denis, France. He has also received teaching methodology training at the University of Okayama in Japan. He has worked for the Ministry of Education in Haiti as an Education Inspector at the primary school level. His research interests include population geography and social-spatial distribution of inequality.
