Mário Fidalgo is Data Manager and Researcher for the Interuniversity Institute for Research and Development (INURED). He studied medical anthropology at the University of Miami as well as statistics and information management at NOVA Information Management School (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) in Lisbon, Portugal. His research interests include migration policy, epidemiology as well as examining intersections between migration and health; migration and gender and, more broadly, migration and development. He has experience in information management at large multilateral institutions in the field of migration and health including the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
