Heloisa is a Social Jurist. She holds a PhD, LLM and BSc in Law, from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and also a MRes in Public Policies of Urban Planning (IPPUR/UFRJ). Her main areas of work and research are on Peripheral Knowledges; Critical Legal Theories; Feminist Theories; Decoloniality (Latin American studies); Gender and Sexuality Studies; and Social Movements.
